Overview

This case study, from Culture24’s Let’s Get Real action research program, looks at how the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology set up and used Periscope to film a curator’s talk and museum activities with international appeal.

Presented by Richard White and Sarah-Jane Harknett of University of Cambridge Museums, it explains how the team discovered the challenges and rewards of live-streaming and learnt that short, questioning broadcast formats work better than long, presentation-style ones. It contains other useful lessons they learned about using Periscope.
