Overview

This case study, from Culture24’s Lets Get Real action research programme, examines how the Wellcome Library and Collection tested out a new idea to present their collections digitally  in a ‘fun, simple and unexpected’ way. They worked with users to refine their ideas to create a story that linked digitised material from both collections.

It stresses the importance of starting with a simple idea and knowing what you want to find out and explains how they tested it out – on paper and online. It also talks about the challenges involved and how and what they learned from audience reactions to the concept.
